Thank you everyone for being such great participants. You had really great questions. Loop back around for my other comment in about 30 mins.

  • Janette says:

Kathleen, I love what you said about “chef-chiropractor”, for example. I was feeling annoyed with myself for creating a Twitter account based on my dog’s name rather than just using my name. Now I’m thinking it might identify myself even better than just using my plain ol’ name.

    • Kathleen says:

Yes, Janette you are really on to something there about the twitter account names. Dom Sagolla was on the original team that created TWITTER. His book “140 characters” goes into the many different ways you can use twitter. He himself has 14 different accounts at least, and tests the response on some – setting up a niche identity associated with each name. One for his book, another for friends and family, another for people he met on tour…etc…
Did you know that you can have multiple accounts on twitter? Definitely think about what name(s) help people instantly connect with what you do or love and create a new account.

Take a look at some of these twitter names:
      @SpiritualNurse
@Soulseedz Plant possibilities. Daily Affirmation resources to seed the change in your life and the world. (Cute, on target and well branded.)
I am @Jyotisha which is the Sanskrit word that IS Vedic Astrology.

@vegtv for all things Vegetarian and Vegan
See how there is an automatic Niche? You are speaking to your tribe instantly if you have a service related to being Gluten free or Vegetarian, perhaps a food or nutrition coach? would do really well to cultivate that relationship. Instant combined communities with Retweeting each other’s content.

RETweet love helps your Niche spread around

What Twitter names can you find that speak to the instant niche? SHARE them here. Let’s all help each other. Who knows what name will trigger a great idea for you.

Remember the hashtags are a GREAT way to brand and Niche in Twitter at the same time.
#yoga for instance immediately connects you with all yogapiles instantly.

#bike would connect you with cyclists

What are some great Twitter names or Hashtags # you have seen?

      • Kathleen says:

For the @Vegtv example: a nutrition coach would do well to post about an article where eating Vegetarian brought health benefits. FOR EXAMPLE:

When they post they will start the Tweet with
@VegTV Being Veggie brings longevity “interesting article url”

This post will be seen by every one of VegTV s peeps. So this cultivates an instant relationship with VegTV and helps them provide content that overlaps with the nutrition coach world.
Then the nutrition coach might be followed by some fo VegTV folks, etc.. and business down the line from cultivating the relationships.

Many of you already know all of this, but I wanted to give a little guidance about Twitter, Niche and branding in one fell swoop.

      • Kathleen says:

Hash tags continued: You see you can literally post almost the same exact Tweet, but put a different hashtag on it or change a few words to go with each group.

If we go with the example above of the Nutrition Coach who is connecting with @VegTV, then She might post the “interesting article url” and #Veg #Vegan #Health

I just saw someone psot something about the benefits of yoga and #yoga #sports

Enjoy tweeting now. This will bring much more benefit from your twitter relationships and loyalty. Peoplel love to know they are being read or that they are being of benefit. Don’t you?

        • PJ Van Hulle says:

          Wow, Kathleen! Thank you!

  • Janette says:

Is Vedic astrology based on mathematics?

    • Kathleen says:

Vedic Astrology has many branches – one of which is called Ganita in Sanskrit. Charts had to be hand calculated until the last 20 years. So the science of Astronomy is extremely important. Vedic Astrologer use the exact same map as Astronomers. This is called Sidereal Astrology. Based on how the planets appear in the sky as you look from a specific place on the planet. Western astrology uses a different map.

This is fascinating! I’ve never heard of this particular kind of astrology. My sun sign is Pisces, Rising Sign is Virgo, and Moon sign is Taurus. Born in March 1972 around 5:15pm.

I’m deep in the trenches of trying to figure out how to express myself in a career and prosper in a 6 figure business that’s sustainable since I’m newly married and we’d like to have my business balance with starting a family. Thanks for so much sharing!

    • em says:

I just sent Kathleen an email to request an individual appointment, and I can’t wait! But I’d love to hear a sneak preview – sorry I didn’t ask a clear question! I’ll try again:

Kathleen – just based on the big picture of my basic data above, can you tell if I’m more generally suited to be an entrepreneur, coach, speaker or continue pursuing my career in fundraising and investment with an interview with a boutique investment firm next week?!

THANK YOU – Can’t wait for the details in my appointment!

      • Kathleen says:

I am very happy to comment. It will take me another 20 minutes to compile a good answer for you. 🙂 Look back in 30 mins for a general response (I do not encourage people to put their birth information out there) and you will get even more detail in your session.

        • em says:

Thanks Kathleen! I look forward to our session this Sunday! YAY : )
