Christian with my info sessions I simply ask questions to potential clients not really giving them information. Do you suggest I give information to pertain to my market or just ask my questions. I always need to know how much info is to much or etc to give during a free session. What do you advise

In the call he talked about doing a needs analysis with your clients during their intro session. This helps them get clear on where they are & where they want to go. That alone is a valuable gift.
If you touch on the bullet points that Christian gave, they will get a ton of value from the session and still be more likely to sign up for your services.

There’s some controversy out there about offering free coaching session. The rationale is that it devalues your coaching. It’s been suggested that you provide Discovery or consultations.
Good point! How long do you make yours?
I don’t do my Discovery sessions or consultations any longer than 20 minutes. If it goes over a tad it’s not so bad. My rationale is that I’m not trying to coach them as much as I’m trying to help them discover some of what Christian states in the bullet points. The pre-session questionnaire helps to prequalify and weeds out curiosity seekers a bit. I find that most that are not serious will not complete it although it’s not very detailed. It also gives insight into what’s going on with them. Some people love to talk and when you have some background before the call you can actually guide it so that they don’t have to elaborate too long. You want to know if they’re a fit for you as much as they’re wanting to know if you’re a fit for them. Christian has a great system, however, I took what worked for me and left what didn’t as you must do with everything. My goal is not lots of high paying clients as much as it’s an abundance of high paying clients that I am called to serve “authentically.”

What does it mean to “de-value” something? All I know is this works to get lots of high paying clients -REALLY quickly. If people de-value it, I could care less.

On a more serious note. You could care less but it is a serious thought and actually they are referencing your program and speaking with regard to your philosophy. They say that it works for who it works for but not for all which of course goes without saying for everything. So I wasn’t trying to create a debate or knock your program. Who am I? You have proof that it works. I wanted an authentic response and I guess that was yours. just a serious concern for what I’ve heard. Sorry you only wanted to give “I could care less.”

Well, Christian’s niche is coaches so that’s who he tailors his talks to. So take what can work for you and transfer it (ex. having a hot free goody with great marketing copy) and leave what doesn’t apply.
