  • Learn the three BEST door opening questions to ask to swing OPPORTUNITY wide open for win-win-win relationships
  • Be enlightened about the single most important thing to get clear about BEFORE you start growing your impact, influence (list) and income

Nancy Juetten is a Business Bio Expert and Get Known to Get Paid Mentor that got introduced to joint venture partnerships in 2006. Today some of the biggest names in internet marketing and business coaching – Christian Mickelsen, Milana Leshinsky, Christine Kloser and Callan Rush — call her by name, sing her praises, and proudly advocate for her products, programs, and services to their tribes as she returns the same or something better for them.

This single strategy has added more “star power” to her brand and reputation and accelerated her impact, influence, and income than any other. Count on Nancy’s “all of the help, none of the hype” approach and get-started-like-a-winner strategies so you can deploy them to your expert and bottom line advantage as YOU grow your own impact, influence (LIST) and income.

  • If you loved this interview, may I ask you to tell five people you know who can benefit so PJ and I can continue to grow our influence, our impact and — of course — our respective lists?

    I’d so appreciate that!

And if you listen to the replay and have additional questions for me, please post them here!

    Warmly,

    Nancy Juetten

  • Tony Dollars says:

Thank you Nancy and PJ for always delivering value!

  • Linda says:

Again Wow! So much here. The ways you make contact with potential mentors; the simplicity of
“Do your homework first.” Just common sense. And the wonderful workbook. Can’t wait to listen to your mastermind video. You are so generous. Thank you both, Nancy and PJ. This has been such a learning experience for me. I’m still learning to be me too, even at my retirement age! Thanks again, and Namaste!

    • Hi Linda,

So glad you enjoyed the call and my common sense advice.

The best is yet to come in your career. Just create a solution your ideal clients are hungry for and willing to invest into. You’ll be golden!

  • LeeAnn Hardy says:

Thank you Nancy and PJ for a great call. I loved the concept of “peas and carrots” partnerships that are complementary.

  • Coach Adam says:

    Love your R&D strategy 🙂

    • Thanks Coach. I heard that first from my friend and long time mentor Henry DeVries. It is a sassy sound bite for sure.

  • Coach Adam says:

QQQ You mentioned getting Christian free book. Who was that and where do I opt in?

  • Corinne says:

I’m sincere- just started the JV Leaderboard Secrets Mastermind- it’s excellent- go there now.
    Should be twice the price!

    Join it!

    Put this on a template:
    How can I support you
    What do you need?
    How can I help?
    and…
What is the number one thing you want people to take action on?

    Plus-Ask for a discovery session- Nancy’s advice.

    • Hi Corinne,

So glad you were on today’s call. Thanks for the shout out about the JV Leaderboard Secrets Virtual Mastermind.

The link to learn more about that for others who see this thread is http://www.authenticvisibility.com/PJ

Jeanna Gabellini and I lead this virtual course that includes a private Facebook group where we answer questions, share road tested resources, and tell the truth about what really works for rocking the JV leaderboards with smaller lists.

And, if anyone would like a discovery session with me, there is a link to that on the home page of my website at http://www.authenticvisibility.com as you scroll to the bottom of the home page.

See you on the next call Corinne!

  • Eric Byrd says:

    Thank you Nancy,
I really appreciate the way you approach business relationships. So many people have a short term “transactional” focus… makes me crazy. I’m in the relationship business and it’s really wonderful to listen to someone else talk about making connections that really fit with who you are and how you want to do business.

Very glad I decided to jump on the call today. Thanks PJ for making it happen!

    Eric

  • Corinne says:

    This is great advice.
Many things to share with others from this call- you’re giving non-stop golden “here’s how to do it” in the form of memorable “sound bites.”

Wow- the story about the person squashing courage says a lot about who their character.

My takeaway is approach this carefully the way you would when choosing a marriage/life partner. Not to take anything at face value- to look at how people demonstrate their true values in action.

If it’s a first launch and you know you can truly benefit a partner …but your proof of concept is offline-and extremely strong-what do you do? My whole offline business was built on referrals. I appreciate that you keep emphasizing give first and lift as you climb.

++++++The JV Leaderboard Secrets Mastermind is outstanding!! Just started. Excellent. Join now.+++

    • Thank you Maia,

It takes courage to be ME and just show up as the most genuine and real NANCY I can be. It hasn’t always been that way. I have had to learn to celebrate my foibles and missing pieces, and the more I have learned to do that, the more the right people have found their way to my care and service. I appreciate your comment very much. Thank you!

  • Marilyn says:

QQQ I would love to know what the going rates are for affiliates for the different products we have.

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

Most people start with 50-50 for a digital product, but it really depends on your individual business model & profit margins.

Some of the bigger players now only offer 30% to start, but they also offer higher percentages based on performance and high value prizes.

      • Corinne says:

Thank you, This is very helpful. 50% $997 to get started benefiting JV’s? 100% profit at $97-197?

        • PJ Van Hulle says:

You can do 100% profit at a lower price point if you upsell something for more on the back end.

      • Marilyn says:

Thanks PJ this is very helpful

  • Maia Alpern says:

Love your tips. But even more, I love how authentic you are in what you say and in your actions.

  • That’s so true! I’ve gotten the same email from different people when there are launches!

    • Customization rocks and brings great rewards. That has absolutely been my experience Tamay!

  • Minette says:

I am loving this call, such great information and awesome stories that illustrate how Nancy’s strategies work. Thanks for the generous gift of the workbook, too!

    • Linda says:

Totally agree, Minette. Thanks for saying it for me!

    • Minette,

So glad you loved the call and the workbook.

  • Corinne says:

    Hi, I’m Corinne from Philadelphia.

Thank you for the workbook! I love what you’re sharing. Nancy you are the model of how to show up with full integrity.

    +++ Buy Bye-Bye Boring Bio+++ Everyone needs it. I’ve learned a lot!

I’m here because I’m new to JV relationships. Honestly, a bit intimidated.

I love helping women find their voice, & have fun building a profitable business confidently with a brand they love. I have a very strong offline 1;1 business & am launching a new online group program for women on branding. Offline, it’s easy to champion people. Online, I’m feeling like a ding-dong.

+++++What’s the best way to communicate with potential JV partners through social media.
I haven’t been active on Facebook on 6 years. Just learning how to use it without getting sucked down the rabbit hole.
Not sure if others on here are like me-I’m used to building relationships face-to-face or in person and it feels awkward.

++++What would you recommend to a new-comer on best practices for growing new relationships through social media channels?++++

I’ve been approached by people in the female entrepreneur niche who have lists of 1000-30,000. Am very excited. Would like to launch in September. I feel funny because I do not have a big list- at all- 500. Can a person effectively advocate for others with such a small list?
Am helping them with brand strategy and writing hot copy- my strong skill set. Thought giving my expertise was the best approach. What do you suggest? I have an information product to give away 100% sales at $197

    Thank you for your help!
    The Hollywood Squares exercise rocks!

    • Hi Corinne,

Thanks for your warm words. For someone whose reputation means the world to me, your comments have me beaming with pride.

If you are already a champion for others, consider creating a Corinne Recommend list of trusted resources that you can showcase on your blog.

If some of these resources also offer partner/affiliate programs, showcase your partner link for each recommended resource. Then, when people in your world visit that page and elect to click over to learn more and perhaps make a purchase, you can earn a partner reward. This is a baby step to take to feel more confident about the product/services/programs you truly think are great already and to invite “the mailbox” money to come your way.

If you have not been active on social media for a while, you might get back in the game and apply your focus toward finding the “jewels in the crown” for your industry. Follow them, read their blogs, and offer thoughtful comments or perspectives without being too self-promotional. Keep your eye on building a real relationship.

I think we can hide behind our computers and our social media posts. To the extent your budget and schedule will allow, attend LIVE events where the “movers and shakers” in your industry are speaking and the people “in the house” invest real money to be in the room to benefit. PJ Van Hulle and I have been connected on social media for quite some time. And, it wasn’t until we met in person at Alex Mandossian’s Membership Live Intensive in July in San Diego of this year that we ever talked about playing together. Look someone in the eye, share a meal, and have a real conversation with a real person and you just might be astounded and delighted by what NEXT can happen for you.

If you want to launch in September, that is just two weeks away. I think the word ‘LAUNCH’ means different things to different people so I am going to decline from commenting on this piece of your query for now. I need more information.

What if you offer a special prize as a RAFFLE ITEM to benefit a non profit organization? eWomenNetwork has its eWomenNetwork Foundation that benefits women and children’s charities. Every month, the members buy tickets for $5 or more dollars for the chance to win prizes like the one you are suggesting. And there are 50-100 women in the room who get to HEAR about what you do and lean in to learn more. It’s something to consider.

If your work is one on one, you could get easily overwhelmed by advocacy from a large list because you only have so many hours in the day.

Consider all this food for thought.

      All the best!

      Nancy Juetten

  • Eric Byrd says:

    Hi, Eric here.
Business is about people and relationships. Conversations are the key to finding connections and building those relationships.

Unfortunately a lot of us are totally intimidated by the idea of networking. Whether it’s going to a local event and meeting people, or being able to comfortably talk to people anywhere we are when they ask “so, what do you do?”

Pitch for Success (www.pitchforsuccess.com) teaches you the skills you need to be able to introduce yourself naturally, continue the conversation comfortably and make the connections that matter to growing your business… all without the stress and anxiety so many of us feel when meeting people.

The key is understanding the networking process itself. When you know how networking really works you know exactly what to do at each stage of the process. My flagship course, Network with Ease, walks you step by step through learning exactly how to get comfortable so you can focus on having good conversations.

I offer transformational energy healing for you or your animal companions
that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and pain, and provides a sense of renewal an all levels.
I’m preparing to host a teleseminar on meditation that will provide guidance and encouragement to build a daily meditation practice, and I’ll be offering a package on this topic.
I’m excited to learn about JV.
    Thanks for the seminar!

  • “Bye Bye Boring Bio” is excellent and fun. I highly recommend it. You can see the bio I wrote with Nancy’s help. It was in the 2nd edition of her “Bye Bye Boring Bio” book: http://margitcrane.com/about/bio/

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

      Nice! 😀

  • Hi,
At what point does that dollar per subscriber on list kick in? I have several hundred on my list–it isn’t translating into that kind of $….which even 1/2 would mean a lot to me.

    • I think it’s incremental. I’ve heard it kicks in after the first 5,000

      • The business model you create has a great deal to do with it.

        Example:

        What if you offer a $10000 program, a $3000 program, and a $500 program.

And, what if you have 10 perfect clients enroll at the $10000 level, 100 perfect clients enroll in your leveraged group training at $3000, and 1000 people wisely invest in your entry level and still amazing group training program or self-guided training at $500?

        That would add up to $100,000 + 300,000 + $500,000 = $900,000.

That is a lot of money. And the more folks on your list, the greater the opportunity you have to invite folks to make those selections that are the perfect fit in service to their needs.

So, keep building amazing offers in service to your ideal client. Get proof of concept of what you offer. And keep growing your list of fans, followers, clients, and CHAMPIONS.

It’s a journey that takes time, and it is well worth it.

    • Thanks for answering my question PJ–it’s always like a duh moment when I listen to you! I coulda had a V8! You crack me up–or really I crack myself up. What a knockout interview!

      • PJ Van Hulle says:

        Ha ha! 😀

      • A knock out interview! Music to my ears. Thank you Carol Steinberg.

        • I should have said your authenticity blew me away! You really hit it out of the ball park though, so that too.
And PJ, you are very clear and always have the simple solution.
          #QQQ

  • I’m so excited for this one. 10,000 = $10,000 per month! Yes, please!!!!

  • Linda says:

WOW! 10,000 followers translates to $10,000 per month income?!

    • It can. The key is having a business model that really works. I am a fan of the Goldilocks Approach. Have three options — High, Mid-Value, and Affordable — and make sure each delivers a massive transformation for the client that is well worth the investment. When you loved your products and programs so much that YOU would invest three times the value to get the transformation, your confidence will soar and you won’t be able to stop yourself from happily speaking about the value you deliver. The right people will say YES to what you offer.

      • Linda says:

Another lightbulb goes off! Fantastic advise for whatever you do, including me. I can make that work! Thank you — still learning an hour after the seminar! I came back to look at all the answers.

I can not say enough for this 3 month journey. I’ll be posting this 3 months from now!

        • Great news. So glad you are inspired to take big action Linda!
