THANK YOU for your questions & comments. Bill had another call right after this one so we didn’t have as much time reply as we’d like.

The recording is now posted here until 8/12 3:00 pm Pacific: https://prosperitytrainings.com/tnc/

  • Lisa says:

    Thank you Bill!
I’ve been researching business coaches and I have to say your passion, clarity, intelligence and sincerity really spoke to me. I am always aware and resistant with the “oversell” and yes you had me ready to jump in.
    My question is:
How do I start marketing my business and website if I haven’t started practicing as a health counselor formally yet?
I have been involved with women over 40 in issues of weight, hormones and staying fit and healthy informally for years, but I’m not sure how to put in writing promises that I havent had “big” success with……although everyone I’ve helped informally has had huge results. I’m working on my website, tagline, “enrollment” wording, newsletters etc. currently. Any advice?

    Namaste!

  • Pam says:

This was great. Really resonated with really wanting to help your niche, must love working and being with them. That’s the key. THANKS! I’m in for Bill’s telesummit on 17th.

  • steph marks says:

I really appreciate the tribal niche checklist. I’m just getting started with my business, so these will really help me hone my niche. At this point, I’m not sure people will pay the service I’d like to offer but more research is in order to see if anyone else is successfully doing this. Thanks for the great info.

  • EM says:

I called back in and heard the rest of the call. Powerful! I’m signing up for Bill Baren’s tele-class now.

      You will love it!

  • Karen says:

Wonderful talk. I would appreciate question 6 of 7. Thank you.

  • nysha says:

thank you bill! this has been quite eye opening.

  • Linda says:

One big problem, how much I can inflate my fee so that I make more with less clients.

  • Jesse Dunn says:

What was question 5 of 7 again?

  • Linda says:

Fabulous speaker, really hitting so many points. I am still on step 1 of the 7, though interestingly I am OK on step 2 & 3…..

  • EM says:

LOVED the call today (and yesterday too!!) but today’s call cut out half-way through and I didn’t hear the end – I will make sure to listen to the recording. Thank you PJ for bringing such amazingly talented people to share so generously with us!

Similar to Nysha, I’m committed to serving “my tribe” – but I’m not sure how to best reach them.

I would like to market my father’s maritime watercolor paintings and am trying out these websites to show his work:

    http://www.SteveMayoArt.com
    http://www.SteveMayoGallery.com

Am I on the right track to start adding niche keywords, etc. to these? Can you please give me some practical suggestions on how to apply the fabulous teaching from today and yesterday?

  • nysha says:

    Tribe tool check list.
    1. yes
    2. yes
    3. mmmm. my tribe might be thrifty. or not committed to growing veg.
    4. yes!!!
    5. yes!
    6. yes yes yes
    7. uh oh. need to start looking.

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

That was a GREAT checklist, right? Super helpful tool. Thanks, Bill! : D

  • PJ Van Hulle says:

I love the distinction of claiming your tribe being similar to developing a beautiful, loving, committed relationship (vs. just dating).

    • nysha says:

love. fall in love with your tribe!

  • nysha says:

pj–you are gonna get sick of me!

bill thanks for lecturing today. i am earnestly committed to helping my tribe…i am afraid my tribe is too big. (Busy Families)

I am currently enrolled in HMBA with Stacey and Carey and LOVE it and want to thank you for letting me listen in today! Just hoping I can work on my niche today and get a bit of feedback…My background is that I own two separate companies an organic culinary nursery and a landscape design firm. I am currently in a holistic nutrition program at Hawthorn University. I am selling organic kitchen garden vegetables and designing kitchen gardens through my one company ardenwoods edibles. My other company (ardenwoods landscape design) does strictly residential design and it currently supports my nursery business. I just can not get to the next level. I am stuck. I can not afford to open a retail shop–it is run out of our home and through farmers markets.

My niche for ardenwoods edibles is:
I help busy families get their home-gardens set up fast so they can enjoy growing their own fresh and organic vegetables without having to spend a lot of time, money or energy to get it done.

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

Actually, I love & appreciate the interaction. Thanks for playing full out! : D

      • EM says:

Yes thank you Nysha – it is great learning for me to hear your questions and the answers, too!

        • nysha says:

: ) i am going to breakthrough this!

  • nysha says:

i feel like i am on the verge of honing my niche and i just can not get there.

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

Wow! You are SO in the right place at the right time! : D

  • Bill Baren says:

    Great to be here!

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

Yay, Bill! I love hearing you talk about your story of how you got to where you are now. You crack me up! : D
