Can you clarify the difference in neutral colors? What is the neutral formal vs. semi-formal vs. casual? Where is each color based off of…Eyes and hair…?

  • Lucy Taylor says:

Came onto the call quite late. Looking forward to hearing the recording.

  • Tami says:

Thank you! I love the concept of becoming more authentically who you are via how you dress.

    • Anne says:

Me too, this is one of my favorite topics! It makes so much sense to think of ourselves as a beautiful work of art and we are just enhancing what we already are.

  • Nancy says:

Oh, thank you, temperament vs. essence explains a lot!

  • Nancy says:

Haha, I like Susan’s joke, she must be a spring!

  • Tami says:

Is your power color always in the blue or green family? Can it be in the reds? I have been told that red is my power color. Some of my friends have worked with you and told me that red can’t be my power color because of the potential to incite such strong emotions in others.

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

So Jennifer said that it’s not always in the blue or green family but it is going to be different than “your red.”

  • Sunni says:

Please repeat the “formula” for measuring your face length to determine neckline, etc.

    • Sunni says:

      Thanks….that helped.

      • em says:

So you measure your face length and use that same measurement from the base of the neck to the neckline to determine your neckline. Is that still an accurate measurement if you have a really long neck? I have a long neck and long face and it seems like that neckline would be too low for me?

  • Susan says:

How can I change into Nikki from you website. Wow!

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

      I don’t understand the question. : (

  • Nancy says:

I know people whose palettes have changed over a period of years from one season to another. Does this mean their inner essence has changed? Can you explain this a bit?

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

Thanks for asking! She’s going over this now. : D

    • It’s funny the rules you can create all on your own, like “I can’t wear red”. I only said that to myself because for some reason I thought red was a provocative color. Once I took Jennifer’s advice and embraced the color red, I found myself in love with it and receiving many compliments!

      • PJ Van Hulle says:

        Awesome! : D

  • Tami says:

Hi! I’m Tami–I help clients communicate more clearly, build robust leaders, create effective teams, and overcome the obstacles that keep them from achieving their goals. Thanks for offering this series! Glad to be here!

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

      Awesome! Welcome, Tami! : D

  • Nancy says:

Love Love love Jennifer. I need to hear ti all often for it to sink in!

    • PJ Van Hulle says:

      Yay, Nancy! Glad you’re here. : D

  • PJ Van Hulle says:

    Here’s a powerful statistic:

“Up to 55% of communication is visual. In order to be seen and heard 100% there must be congruence between your inner self, your message, and your external presentation”

  • PJ Van Hulle says:

It’s a special gift to be able to interview Jennifer today because working with her over the last 4 years has been profoundly life-changing for me.

Before working with Jennifer, I always felt very conflicted about what to wear. I hated shopping. I tended to go with another person and buy whatever they thought looked good on me.

Now, I go shopping happily and with confidence. I can scan a room and know instantly if there’s anything worth trying on.

Instead of agonizing for hours about what to wear for an important event, I can whip out a stunning outfit in minutes.

And for the first time in my life, people refer to me as someone who dresses well.

Surprisingly, there’s a huge personal development element to this work, too. I feel more confident and centered in who I am and have massive permission to be myself.

The reason we wanted to have Jennifer speak while we’re exploring the topic of niche clarity is that one of the themes we’ve been exploring is that often your niche will be people like you so it’s powerful to know yourself and express who you are authentically. That way, the right people, YOUR PEOPLE, will be naturally drawn to you.
